We love reading! 

At Abbey Hulton Primary School all staff and children have a passion and love of reading. With our new SSP implemented in school we have explored a variety of ways we can access phonics throughout the day outside of statutory phonic sessions. 

From Nursery to Y2 we have passwords on doors as the children enter and leave the room to practice reading tricky words or words from the day's sessions. The children love this aspect of the day and will quiz adults on what the password is to gain entry too!
